Welcome to The Cove Swim School
The Cove Swim School is a proud, family-owned business bringing Northern Rhode Island its first dedicated swim school. As members of the community, we take great pride in providing local families with a much-needed resource where children can learn to swim in a safe, welcoming, and fun environment.
At The Cove, our mission goes far beyond teaching swim lessons. We want every child who walks through our doors to build confidence, have fun, and develop water-safety skills that can last a lifetime. We are committed to providing exceptional instruction, creating a positive experience for every family, and becoming a trusted part of the Northern Rhode Island community.
Our goal is simple: help kids have fun, build confidence, and learn a life skill that lasts a lifetime. We can’t wait to welcome you to The Cove!
A Message from Our Co-Founder
Like many parents, I wanted my child to learn how to swim as early as possible. I quickly discovered that finding quality swim lessons wasn’t easy. We were placed on waiting lists at three different swim schools and waited more than a year and a half without being able to enroll.
That experience opened my eyes to a serious need in our community. There is an overwhelming demand for children’s swim lessons, but not enough programs to meet that need. Families shouldn’t have to wait months, or years, for their children to learn a skill that could one day save their lives.
That’s why I decided to open The Cove Swim School.
Our mission is to provide exceptional swim instruction in a safe, fun, and encouraging environment where every child can build confidence in the water. We are committed to making swim lessons more accessible, so families have the opportunity for their children to learn this essential life skill without long waiting lists.
We believe swimming is more than just a sport or recreational activity. It’s a lifelong skill that promotes confidence, safety, and independence. We are proud to serve our community by helping children become strong, confident swimmers, one lesson at a time.
